A Comedian, Chef, singer/songwriter, and world traveler who has appeared on MasterChef : Generations, The Grammy Awards with Bob Dylan, and MTV Europe. He will tell you he was not born to perform stand up, but rather born to experience life, of which stand up is a part of.

He began his career as a standup in 2006 and quickly garnered a following and passed into several NYC clubs. He has performed at Lincoln Center, the Mayo Performing Arts Center, as well as Central Park’s Laughter in the Park. He has been heard on Playboy Radio, Sirius, Mancow Radio, the Dr. Fritz Show, as well as college stations across the U.S. Currently, he hosts his own weekly show at the Stand Comedy Club in Union Square and EastVille in Brooklyn. He has headlined internationally including Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Berlin, Goa, India, and the Greek Islands.

He founded Laughing Buddha Comedy in 2009, creating stage time opportunities for countless comedians in NYC and has been featured on the front pages of the Wall St. Journal, and the Tampa Bay Times, as well as being branded a “big name talent” by the NY Times.

Jeff portrayed Ernest Hemingway in the musical "Scott and Zelda" at the Wings Theater in NYC. As a singer songwriter, (Jefferson Lawrence) is releasing his first rock record in more than 20 years in 2024, named “Death of a Comedian”. The single Curve Ball is out on iTunes and Spotify. In the 90’s he was the frontman for the L.A. band Milk The Cow which has included members of The Cult and Buck Cherry. Their debut record charted on over 200 college stations.

He now dedicates his time to coaching and mentoring aspiring comedians and artists on and off the stage.
